5-Star Hotel and Courtyard

Located 10 minutes from the world’s largest gambling center In Macau, this hotel landscape takes cues from its mountainous ocean side context in creating geologically inspired waterfalls, richly planted landforms, intimate stream gardens, flexible event spaces, and signature outdoor dining terraces.

The tower roof swimming pool incorporates an infinity edge, oriented to maximize visual connections towards the adjacent mountains and to provide a diversity of sun and shade terraces. The program supports sunbathing, a café, and event pavilions. In contrast, the lower landscape interprets the local geomorphology through an intensified use of topography, native plant material, and water features.  Event lawns, vine trellis pavilions, stream gardens, and social terraces support a diverse range of program that catalyze year round use within the experientially robust hotel landscape.
